Bitcoin rejection keeps $62,000 in focus

Signal21 Editorial Desk

Resistance produces a clear rejection

The resistance area identified in the previous outlook appears to have played its role. Bitcoin moved above $66,500 but failed to sustain the breakout and has since returned toward $65,000.

At approximately 13:16 UTC on July 23, Coinbase reported BTC-USD near $64,980. Its daily data recorded highs around $66,924 on July 21 and $66,699 on July 22. Bitcoin then traded back below $65,000 on July 23, confirming a rejection so far.

The current daily candle remains open, so the rejection should still be treated as developing rather than final.

$62,000 becomes the downside level to watch

The next important level is $62,000. As long as Bitcoin remains above it, the market may continue consolidating between support and resistance.

A decisive break below $62,000 would weaken the structure materially. In that scenario, further downside would become the primary expectation, consistent with the deeper bearish scenario described in the previous outlook.

Bulls need to reclaim $66,500

The published short-term view remains Bullish Bias, but the rejection puts that view under pressure. Bulls need to reclaim $66,500 and sustain acceptance above it to preserve the bullish short-term structure.

Such a reclaim would reopen the $67,000–$69,000 resistance zone. Until that happens, the rejection keeps near-term downside risk elevated. A decisive loss of $62,000 would invalidate the short-term bullish view. This is market analysis, not a recommendation to enter or exit a position.
